Alexandra Raisman
Aly Raisman is an American gymnast who had been both a member and the captain of 2012's Fierce Five and 2016 Final Five US Women's Olympic gymnastics teams. At the 2012 Olympics she was awarded gold on both the floor for the team and in individual competitions. Bronze was taken by her balance bar. In 2012, she became one of the few American athlete to achieve the most number of medals in the Olympics. The gold medal was hers for team during the 2016 Olympics and also made her and Gabby Douglas the first Americans to win back-to-back golds. Also, she received silvers for individual all-around and floor exercises. Between the two Olympics, she took a break. Additionally, she was part of the gold-winning American team at the two World Championships. Gymnastics was her first sport of choice when she was two and her favourite event is floor exercises. Aly donates to the Uniting Against Lung Cancer charity in honor of her departed grandmother. She plans to pursue an occupation in fashion and would like to expand her leotard line and socks in future. Fierce - a novel that she's currently writing, is due coming out in the year ahead.
